Nate Anderson is a natural teacher who communicates the Bible's powerful truths with relevance to real life in the changing cultures of the 21st century. He’s the founding and Lead Pastor of The Summit Church, located about 10 miles north of downtown Fort Worth, TX, in the Alliance area.
Pastor Nate believes that anyone can (and should) experience God right where they are in life, just as they are. "We don’t have to change ourselves
before we can experience God! We actually need His touch
first, and that's where we get the power to change. This is why everyone is encouraged to come to services at The Summit
just-as-they-are, without false pretense or fake-Christian-makeup. We should be real with God because He is interested in being real in us."
A 1993 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he has been working in the ministry for more than 15 years. Pastor Nate also founded a Christian publishing company while in Tulsa, but stepped away from publishing in 2003 prepare for planting The Summit Church. He has been on staff as the Associate Pastor at Word of Love Christain Center in Hurst, TX, since 2003.
God gave Nate the most wonderful gift in his beautiful and talented wife, Jessica.
Jessica Anderson is Co-Pastor of The Summit Church. She has always felt the call of God on her life and, since a young girl, has used the musical gifts God has given her for His glory and to draw people to Jesus. She has a passion to teach others about living a “pro-active” salvation and motivates them to live their lives with hope, vision, and excellence.
At each service, Jessica leads worship for The Summit. She has played saxophone for 19 years, playing in some prestigious bands and institutions along the way. In addition, she has been been active on church and campus worship teams since childhood. A naturally gifted teacher, Jessica is also a band director at Prairie Vista Middle School in Fort Worth, TX.
